Today was the last day of the 2014 Cannes Yachting Festival. Marinanow has had a great time here. We have met lots of interesting people and added many berths and boats to our site. Below is a selection of our Cannes highlights.
This is the cigarette 42 huntress. It has 5 outboard motors and can reach speeds of 75mph. The engines are Mercury Racing Verado 350SCi. It is the 3rd collaboration between Cigarette and AMG.
If you think that was fast, look at this. These boats from Power Marine can travel up to 103mph! This one was my favourite, The Interceptor, combining military technology with Italian design.
This motorised “Pedalo” has an underwater compartment. You can either relax on the sundecks or look at the life under the sea.
A motorised surfboard is one of the must have toys for this season.
I loved these beautiful models from Kiade.com. The Ferrari boat is based on a real race boat. The original was from the 1950s and made for Nando dell’Orto.
Ethimo had a great stand at the festival. Their outdoor furniture is really beautiful and would look great in a modern yacht.
This company swears that their boarding ring glasses can cure sea sickness. You wear them for 10 minutes whenever you start to feel ill.
It wasn’t only boats on show. This Lauge Jensen motorbike from Denmark is beautiful.
Don’t forget that you can now book this fantastic Indonesian boat directly from marinanow.
Next stop, we head back to our office in Cagliari. After that, it’s off to Genoa for the 54th International Boat Show. We look forward to seeing you there from the 1st to 6th October.
